Parent-Teen Services

Our parent-teen services include individual sessions, family sessions, and parental coaching.

Individual counseling sessions can be with teen or parent. Family sessions can be with parent(s) that are with or without teens.

Equine Assisted Counseling session with teens is optimally done in the absence of parents. An onlooking parent will inhibit a teens full attention to working with the horses in most cases. Sometimes the presence of a parent can be helpful however, especially is the teen is nervous or scared.

Family counseling sessions can be either traditional office sessions or equine assisted.

Parental coaching is about helping parents be more effective parents with their teen. It focuses on developing parenting skills or problem solving about problems they are having with their teens. These can be done face-to-face or at a distance (telephone or email).
